An evening out of the ordinary

Visit by the Abbey Heritage Guides / Dinner included

From Abbot Pailler in 1893 who excavated the tomb niche of Robert de Châtillon (Noirlac’s founding abbot) to the recent excavations of archeologists from INRAP and EVEHA, along with some fortutitious discoveries made by architects during restoration work, come and join this walk through a wealth of knowledge about the origins of the Abbey and its development.

Old flagging, multiple and sometimes surprising sepulchres, traces of porcelain making, possible location of dungeons… you will discover all these gems before ending the evening with a candlelit meal in the refectory.

Beware! We may come across a few skeletons on our route!
